SAT. NITE DUETS

The band’s previous releases include the EP “Wilder Dreams,” the “Homemade Halo/Throwback Man” single, and the widely acclaimed “One Nite Only” EP, released on limited edition 10-inch vinyl by Ten Atoms in 2011.

“Summer of Punishment” will be Sat. Nite Duets’ first proper full-length and fifth release overall.

The album’s main themes are the peace/terror and punishment/suffering dualities, girls, money, fame, and guitars. Major influences include Weezer, Bruce Springsteen, David Berman, Guided By Voices, Pixies, John Berry- man, Pavement, and John Hughes.

“Summer of Punishment” was recorded during the summer of 2011 in a basement in Milwaukee, using equipment in various states of disrepair.
